GM AND CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP CLOSURES: PROTECTING DEALERS AND CONSUMERS

In mid-May Chrysler announced it would close 789 dealerships nationwide by June 12 and GM announced it would eliminate 2,600 dealerships by October, 2010. Since that announcement, Senator Rockefeller has been taking action to make sure that small town dealers and consumers are being treated fairly.
